Mermaid Man and Barnacle Boy decide to have lunch at the Krusty Krab. Learning this, Spongebob becomes overexcited and runs for an autograph, prompting the heroes to flee in fear. In the process, Mermaid Man drops his utility belt, which includes many features, including a shrinking button. Spongebob inadvertently presses the button, shrinking everyone in Bikini Bottom to a tiny size, causing chaos as the residents struggle to adapt to their new miniature world. Meanwhile, in another episode, Spongebob is in the process of failing his driving exam yet again. As he and Mrs. Puff plunge off an unfinished bridge, Mrs. Puff's mind races through many possible outcomes of the disaster. One of her imagined scenarios includes being sent to jail for Spongebob's reckless driving, adding to her already overwhelming stress as his perpetually nervous driving instructor. The episode humorously explores her exaggerated fears while Spongebob remains blissfully unaware of the consequences of his actions.
