Three Plebs join the army in peace-time, hoping to win respect, romance, and military discounts at selected restaurants. But when war is declared, they're abruptly sent to fight on the front lines of a Roman legion for a cause they don't believe in. Now, their main interest shifts from personal gain to the desperate struggle for survival. Amidst the chaos of battle, the trio must navigate the absurdity of military life, incompetent commanders, and their own bumbling incompetence. Whether dodging enemy spears, scheming to avoid dangerous missions, or trying to scrounge up decent food, their misadventures highlight the ridiculousness of war—and their sheer luck at staying alive. With their trademark wit and camaraderie, the three plebs prove that even in the face of certain doom, there’s always room for humor, cowardice, and the occasional act of accidental heroism. Will they make it out alive—or at least with their dignity intact? Probably not. But they’ll try… sort of.
