After the end of the climate wars, there is probably one person left on Earth. Her name is Ewa. She lives with a robot named Arthur, whose job is to guard the borders of the camp. One day Ewa goes outside the camp boundaries. On her return she gives the incorrect password. The robot, despite knowing Ewa, does not let her into the camp. She is trapped on a small patch of land. Struggling to survive, Ewa tries to reason with Arthur, but the robot remains bound by its programming, unable to override the security protocols. As resources dwindle and hope fades, Ewa reflects on the fragility of human existence and the unintended consequences of relying on machines for protection. The story explores themes of isolation, trust, and the limits of artificial intelligence in a world where humanity has nearly vanished.
