After a night on the town, Charlie comes home to the house where he is staying, drunk and unable to find his key. For the next twenty minutes he staggers into, out of, and through the house in an inebriated confrontation with the house itself. Doors refuse to open, stairs shift unexpectedly, and furniture seems to conspire against him. Every attempt to find his bed turns into a chaotic battle with the architecture, as the house becomes a surreal obstacle course. Charlie’s drunken persistence meets the house’s stubborn resistance, resulting in a hilarious and absurd dance of frustration. The film captures the disorienting, exaggerated reality of a drunkard’s struggle against the inanimate world, blending physical comedy with a touch of dreamlike absurdity.
