A horde of murderous crab monsters descend on a sleepy coastal town on Prom night, and only a ragtag group of outcasts can save the day. As the town's adults fall victim to the creatures' razor-sharp claws, the misfits—a nerdy marine biology student, a rebellious punk, a shy artist, and a washed-up crab fisherman—must uncover the truth behind the invasion. With the high school gym transformed into a blood-soaked battleground, they race against time to stop the creatures before the town becomes a feeding ground. Armed with makeshift weapons and unlikely courage, they'll face their fears—and the monsters—in a fight for survival under the neon lights of Prom night.
