California gold rush, late 1800's: A gun slinging bounty hunter (Mortimer) travels deep into the mountains to find a deadly Apache warrior (Brother Wolf) who is wanted by the law. Along the way he passes through a gold mining town. The miners help direct Mortimer to the Apache and send him on his way. Mortimer enters the forest and begins to track the Apache. Back in town, the miners uncover an ancient burial ground while digging for gold, unknowingly unleashing a horde of the undead. As night falls, the town is overrun by zombies, forcing the survivors to barricade themselves inside the saloon. Meanwhile, Mortimer finally corners Brother Wolf, but before they can fight, they realize a greater threat is approaching—the zombie horde has spread into the wilderness. With no choice, the two enemies must form an uneasy alliance to survive the night. Armed with their skills and a dwindling supply of ammunition, they fight their way back to town, where the remaining miners are making a desperate last stand. In a final showdown, Mortimer, Brother Wolf, and the townsfolk must battle both the undead and their own mistrust to escape the nightmare. The film blends gritty western action with horror, as the gold rush frontier becomes a fight for survival against an unstoppable evil.
