After inheriting the family mortuary, a pyrophobic mortician struggles to manage the business due to his fear of fire, which prevents him from performing cremations. Desperate to dispose of the growing backlog of bodies, he resorts to storing them in the basement. In a reckless attempt to solve the problem, he exposes the corpses to toxic medical waste, unknowingly triggering a horrific chemical reaction. As the contaminated bodies begin to reanimate into flesh-hungry zombies, chaos erupts in the mortuary. To make matters worse, the mortician's opportunistic younger brother arrives unexpectedly, hoping to claim his share of the inheritance. Unaware of the unfolding nightmare, he walks straight into the middle of a full-blown zombie outbreak. Trapped inside the mortuary with the undead closing in, the two brothers must put aside their differences and fight for survival. With time running out and the horde growing stronger, they must find a way to stop the spreading infection before it consumes the entire town.
