Ralph Anderson returns to his remote California hometown for the first time in many years. Now a lawyer, he has been estranged from his father, Lloyd, and brother, Tippy, ever since being sent to reform school as a youth for stealing a car, taking the blame for his brother's crime. Upon his return, Ralph finds the town gripped by fear as a series of brutal murders terrorize the community. As he reconnects with his fractured family and old acquaintances, dark secrets from the past begin to resurface. Ralph soon realizes that the killings may be linked to long-buried family tensions and a violent history he thought he had left behind. Forced to confront his own demons, he must unravel the truth before the cycle of violence consumes them all.
